I love Hursts Beans because their bags of beans come with a little spicy packet inside which you can use to add an explosion of taste to your beans. His flavor is especially good in pinto beans, so beans gets blurry that actually makes them pop.

This time, I made you a slow cooker soup recipe that specializes in their Cajun 15 bean soup. You will never guess, but the package comes with 15 different types of beans! 😉 It also includes a small pack of casino masala, which makes your soup easier in the whole season.

I added beans to a slow cooker, some onion and bell pepper, and with a whole lot chicken broth. It will take 5 hours to get your beans good and tender. Then you roam in a big pan of Cajun spiced, some chopped tomatoes, and brown endosail sausages. If you are in a hurry, you can leave the coloring phase, but if you ask me, the best thing about these sausages is crisp edges.

After that, it will take another hour and you will have this completely experienced Cajun soup. It’s not very spicy, but just the right amount of kick. If you do not like spices, then use smoked sausage instead of end oil and it will be a bit lighter than that, but honestly, I am a vim and I thought it was perfection.

I served it with cornbread. I like to throw my cornbread in the bowl in the bowl, but I’m weird. You can also serve it with rice.

SLOW COOKER CAJUN SAUSAGE AND BEAN SOUP

This slow cooker soup recipe is full of Cajun flavor. The andouille sausage pairs so well with the beans.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Hurst's Beans Cajun 15 BEAN SOUP
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 1 sweet onion diced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pound Andouille sausage
  • 15 ounces canned diced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Rinse the beans and sort through to remove any debris. Set aside the seasoning packet.
  2. Place rinsed beans in a slow cooker with the bell pepper, onion, chicken broth, and water.
  3. Cook on high for 5 hours.
  4. Slice the sausage into thin coins and cook in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the sausage and tomatoes to the slow cooker, along with the packet of Cajun seasoning. Stir well.
  6. Cook for 1 more hour or until ready to serve.
  7. Serve with rice or corn bread, as desired.
